2-for-2: Andre Carson and Bill Foster Win Special Elections

Congratulations to our newly-elected Democratic Members of Congress: Andre Carson and Bill Foster. Carson was elected Tuesday to the seat formerly held by his grandmother, the late Rep. Julia Carson. Bil Foster's election on Saturday to the seat formerly held by Republican Speaker Dennis Hastert sent a political shock wave across America in this "big change" election year.

Rep. Rick Renzi INDICTED

Arizona Congressman Rick Renzi was indicted Friday on charges of extortion, wire fraud and money laundering. Following the news, DCCC spokesman Doug Thornell released the following statement:

"Congressman Rick Renzi’s indictment is sad and unfortunate for the people of the First District of Arizona. They deserve better."
